I have inherited a SCCM 2012 that is not working right - it was a supposed migration from SCCM 2007. It was not migrated correctly and that person has left the company.
I was to start fresh with a new install of 2012 and perform the migration correctly. Some aspects of the current 2012 install do work, like the desktop updates (sometimes), and would like to maintain th current 2012 until my new 2012 is fully ready.
What should I be aware of in this situation? It is only a primary site design (about 400 clients), with about 80% of the infrastructure on VMware 5.5, including the SCCM server.
I still have the 2007 server out there, so I would be migrating from that and then scrapping the current 2012 when done. Thanks.
