First of all, thank you so much for all the information available on this site in order to understand and master on the SCCM adventure.
We have a new request because our partner has their primary site in AWS and they don't want to replicate all software updates from AWS to their local DP every single month. We would like to know how we could setup their environment in order to download all software updates from Microsoft Update directly to their DP. How could this be done?
We thought to remove the software update point role from the primary site and just install it in the DP. Once we configure it as an active software update point, we could point to sync from the local WSUS. The issue is that we are not sure if this setup will force the download on the primary site in order to generate the SCCM content libray (this is exactly what we are trying to avoid).
