I am using USMT 4 in SCCM SP2 to migrate profiles from XP to Windows 7 64bit. I can get the profiles moved just fine using a hardlink transfer. My only issue is the shortcuts transfer as well. Since the move is from 32 to 64-bit OS the shortcuts are useless if they are to any system type function. I know that the miguser.xml file must be customized, but my attempts to make changes have had no affect on the transfer. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.
