I install the KB941078 update because that's what SCCM prerequisite checker reported, I have NOT even install the SCCM 2007 SP1.

I have successfully extended the AD but still cannot see the "System Management" group, why ?

I checked that .NET Framework 2.0 is already installed with Windows Server 2008 R2, I have not applied any SP for the .NET Framework 2.0 Check Event Viewer and no abnormal message.

I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 standard edition and when I run the SCCM 2007 Prerequisite checker, I got the following warning: I followed the URL http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=98350 and download the KB941078, however when I try to install it, I got the following error: How do I resolve this ?

Do I need to promote the Windows Server 2008 to an Active Directory instead of joining the Windows Server 2008 to an existing Active Directory forest ?
