Thanks. I was trying too hard in the wrong direction. Would have been better to check names The package VIE00021 is the Microsoft Configuration Manager Client Upgrade Pack. The problem was that the Network Access Account was not set for this package. So it seems that this also gets checked at the beginning. Even before formatting the hard drive. Hi After having tried almost everything i have found on the net, i hope you might be able to help me System: Windows Server 2008R2 + Sccm2007Sp2 + DHCP + DNS on one machine. Client VmWare I tried it with and without injecting VmWare NIC Drivers in the boot image. same error. I tried to change/update the Network Access Account. same error. I can access the shares with the NAA from a remote computer. same error. i also installed wds/pxe service point more than once... Please have a look at my log file and give me a hint. smsts.log
