Thanks for the response, I created a Task sequence to deploy an application (Symantec Enterprise Vault Client) and it fails with the same error however I can deploy the same program as an advertised application. So it seems to be with running Task Sequences within Windows, that is either Windows XP x86 and also WIn7 x64 ****Update to the processes. I alterred the Collection Membership to specifically address the PC in question and not an AD security group the logged on user was a member of and it ran the Task Sequence, currently deploying the image, will post if this is 100% successful.

The issue I have is in re-deploying OS (Win7x64) images from within windows via the Run Advertised Programs. The same advertised task sequence works perfectly via PXE. The only thing I am not sure on is that im trying to deploy Windows 7 64bit to Windows XP 32bit but doubt that would cause the problem. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, the end result im trying to achieve is minimal overhead by our desktop staff and also so that the Computer Object doesnt get re-created in the collections with the same name as I have custom variables assigned for reporting purposes. I want it to re-use the same collection object after re-imaging.
