1. Having an issue with tons of failed statesys messages. They come in with a topic id of 7202 which is not recognized and the messages are filed as corrupt. Google search shows nothing on this topic type. Found one odd reference that 7202 might be a SQL error…. Uninstall and reinstall of client does not fix it. Clients are version 5.00.8498.1711 and 5.00.8325.1000 Site is 5.00.8239.1000 build 8239 Statesys LOG Found new state messages to process, starting processing thread $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.390+240><thread=3368 (0xD28)> Thread "State Message Processing Thread #0" id:7552 started $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.391+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> total chucks loaded (1) $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.394+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> SQL MESSAGE: spProcessStateReport - Record 1 failed processing with error -50001: Topic type 7202 is unknown $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.398+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> CMessageProcessor - Non-fatal error while processing N_4TZB4CMD.SMX $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.398+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> STATMSG: ID=6104 SEV=E LEV=M SOURCE="SMS Server" COMP="SMS_STATE_SYSTEM" SYS=SRVSRCM01.sjhhc.com SITE=SJ2 PID=9444 TID=7552 GMTDATE=Thu Jun 28 13:39:52.399 2018 ISTR0="N_4TZB4CMD.SMX" ISTR1="" ISTR2="" ISTR3="" ISTR4="" ISTR5="" ISTR6="" ISTR7="" ISTR8="" ISTR9="" NUMATTRS=0 $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.399+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> Thread "State Message Processing Thread #0" id:7552 was unable to process file "E:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\auth\statesys.box\process\N_4TZB4CMD.SMX", moving to corrupt directory. $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.404+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> total chucks loaded (0) $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.406+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> Thread "State Message Processing Thread #0" id:7552 terminated normally $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.406+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> CThreadMgr::ThreadTerminating - All threads have stopped running $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:39:52.407+240><thread=7552 (0x1D80)> State message processing processed invalid records or files in the last processing cycle. $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:40:07.393+240><thread=3368 (0xD28)> STATMSG: ID=6105 SEV=E LEV=M SOURCE="SMS Server" COMP="SMS_STATE_SYSTEM" SYS=SRVSRCM01.sjhhc.com SITE=SJ2 PID=9444 TID=3368 GMTDATE=Thu Jun 28 13:40:07.394 2018 ISTR0="" ISTR1="" ISTR2="" ISTR3="" ISTR4="" ISTR5="" ISTR6="" ISTR7="" ISTR8="" ISTR9="" NUMATTRS=0 $$<SMS_STATE_SYSTEM><06-28-2018 09:40:07.395+240><thread=3368 (0xD28)> File - N_V66450XL.SMX <Report><ReportHeader><Identification><Machine><ClientInstalled>1</ClientInstalled><ClientType>1</ClientType><ClientID>GUID:99222492-4D90-48FE-8835-64CE6ED5E843</ClientID><ClientVersion>5.00.8498.1711</ClientVersion><NetBIOSName>SRVHHFTP</NetBIOSName><CodePage>437</CodePage><SystemDefaultLCID>1033</SystemDefaultLCID><Priority>5</Priority></Machine></Identification><ReportDetails><ReportContent>State Message Data</ReportContent><ReportType>Full</ReportType><Date>20180628133856.900000+000</Date><Version>1.0</Version><Format>1.0</Format></ReportDetails></ReportHeader><ReportBody><StateMessage MessageTime="20180628133622.817000+000" SerialNumber="15596"><Topic ID="STATE_STATEID_DOWNLOAD_AGGREGATE_DATA_UPLOAD" Type="7202" IDType="0" User="" UserSID=""/><State ID="1" Criticality="0"/><UserParameters Flags="0" Count="1"><DownloadStatsList><Host HostName="SRVSRCM01.SJHHC.COM"><DownloadType Type="0"><StartTime StartTime="1530072000"><Content BytesDownloaded="931552" ID="ca91b6c8-e6c5-4239-a288-4c96de694997"/></StartTime><StartTime StartTime="1530158400"><Content BytesDownloaded="557792" ID="5958669b-c66d-4e4d-b360-cb3f6aaf81c0"/></StartTime></DownloadType></Host><ClientLocationInfo><BoundaryGroups BoundaryGroupListRetrieveTime="0001-01-01 00:00:00.000"/></ClientLocationInfo></DownloadStatsList></UserParameters></StateMessage></ReportBody></Report> Any help would be appreciated.
