  1. All, Can anyone point me to an exact step by step for getting the correct SQL permissions set up so I'm able to connect my SM and CM together? I've done it before, but for some reason my current config is REFUSING to build the connector.

     

    Firewall is stopped on both, I've got my connecting account configured in SCSM Run As Accounts and have given that account db_datareader, public, and smsdbrole_extract on my SCCM SQL (CM_CRP) database. But no matter what I try, whenever I try building the connector from service manager, I get "There was an error attempting to connect to SQL Server <SCCM.domain.name>, database CM_CRP for user <runas_account>. Please check the server name, database name and credentials for correctness."

     

    Please help, this is infuriating as I had it working previously before I rebuilt my Service Manager deployment. (It's SQL got burnt and we hadn't gotten far enough along that it was worth salvaging.)
