  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I removed WebDAV, and then did a re-add of WebDAV. Modified the authoring rules, checked the xml file and everything seems to be working now. My site Status is coming up green and there are no errors. Now I will see if my clients can install.
  2. Hello, Thank you for the questions. I have configured webdav as outlined, I have checked to ensure that the correct property settings ae being saved in the xml config file located in Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\schema\webDAV_schema.xml file. I have reconfigured webdav multiple times, I have never encountered this issue with the managemnt point not installing after checking the appropriate locations of known failure points as well as the common install errors. In the mp logs I do not see any prereqs that are missed. I have followed through the windows-noob.com guides multiple times to set up sccm servers and have not had an install come up broken.
  3. Hello, I have tried to finish my SCCM 2007 install for several days now. My environment, 2008 R2 domain my server 2008 R2 with WDS, SQL 2008, WSUS 3.01, SCCM 2007. I have webdav configured and have checked the xml file to ensure that the authoring rule settings were correct. My clients are discovered, but never show as installed in the console even though they are. I also receive these errors in my SCCM console, SMS Site Component Manager failed to install component SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER on server COMSCCM. The WebDAV server extension is either not installed or not configured properly. Solution: Make sure WebDAV is installed and enabled. Make sure there is an authoring rule that allow "All users" read access to "All content". Make sure the WebDAV settings "Allow anonymous property queries" and "Allow property queries with infinite depth" are set to "true" and "Allow Custom Properties" is set to false. Second Error SMS Site Component Manager failed to install this component, because the Microsoft Installer File for this component (dmp.msi) could not install. Refer to the DMPSetup.log, the DMPMSI.log, as well as the SMS documentation and the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further information. My dmp logs are attached. Can someone explain what is wrong? dmpMSI.log DMPSetup.log lasterror.dmpMSI.log
