I currently have a Central Primary site server at one location with a Primary child site server at another location. Because the Primary child site server has issues(software), I am taking an opportunity to reconfigure a different server from scratch and have it replace this server. What I would like to do is then make this new server the Central site. After everything is complete, I would have essentially flip flopped the Central and Primary sites. Would I just have to disjoin both sites, Install SCCM on the new server as a Central site and set it as parent on the previous Central site server. Are there any "gotchas" I should be aware of?
