Report to find Computers with IE9 Installed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm not really familiar with creating reports in sccm, but I'm needing a report that will show me all machines that have IE9 installed on them is there a report that I can run that will do this for me or would I be better creating a custom report, if I need to create a custom report would someone be nice enough to explain the steps as I have never created a custom report before?

Many Thanks

Owen

I would start by adding the HW inv MOF edit. Once you do that you can create a report.

If you are looking for a book on CM reporting then there are at least two on amazon on the topic.

Thanks for your reply.

but like I said I'm in unfamiliar territory creating/edit reports, so any help on how I use the link you supplied would be great.

Thanks.

This blog will get you started. What Sherry has posted in the end results of regkeytomof. So you can skip to the section that starts with "Now, let’s start with appending the text to the configuration.mof file."
