[WinXP] Drivers from network share

Question

Hi,

We have a fully featured clean installation feature on our WDS server through WinPE.wim, all software is being installed via scripts from a network share.

But, we dont have features to install graphics drivers from the network.

Is there any way to make the unattended winxp look for drivers from a network share?

Thanks in advance

A nice solution we use at work is before syspreping the image is we put a startup runonce registry key that runs an exe on the server. After the sysprep completes it runs the script once.

There are some tools that can install drivers.

-DriverForge (latest v4.5.4) - can use specified extracted drivers or driverpacks, can be automated or manual

-INFSniff & DeviceInstall - requires you compile it and download driverpacks manually - 100% automated

Let me know how you get on
