We have Windows Server 2003 Enterprise where our SCCM 2007 R3 is installed. We're currently deploying FEP 2010 client silent install via OSD but the task sequence keeps on failing when it is on the process of installing the FEP client. Below the link from Microsoft's Technet Wiki guide for deploying FEP client via OSD which we exactly followed.
This is the error code the we got 0x800700FF but we cant find anything about it from the net. The interesting thing is that, when we close the task sequence error prompt, the machine will reboot and has been successfully joined to the domain. We also we can see that the FEP client and the software package prior to the task sequence failure has been successfully installed after we logged in. But obviously, the next tasks which deploys another software packge on the task sequence was not installed.
