Failed to run the action "Apply Operating System". The system cannot find the file specified.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am trying to PXE boot client to install Win8.1.

Clients are downloading all the necessary files ie. boot.wim, install.wim, etc from distribution point into c:\_smstasksequence

During file transfer, client could ping to sccm server

But when it tries to apply "Apply Operating System" it failed with and dropped its IP. All files c:\_smstasksequence\Packages\*.* suddenly dissappear

Error:

Failed to run the action: Apply Operating System.
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 80070002; Source: Windows)]LOG]!><time="09:46:11.310-660" date="01-02-2014" component="TSManager" context="" type="3" thread="704" file="instruction.cxx:895">

Any suggestion?
