  3. Hi I need to deploy Simply Accounting 2012, to about 200 computers for Wednesday. I am wondering if any of you have successfully deployed this software using sccm. I looked the installer doesn't seem to have any useful unattended switches. Thanks to anyone that can give me a hand with this as I am under the gun.
  4. perfect perfect perfect!!!. Thank you!! it worked like a champ. Sccm now reports SUCCESS. Even from a distribute straight from the package, no TS.

  6. I got my unattended silent install of elements working fine using Setup.exe /UL1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX BUT SCCM and it reports a failure, even though it installs successfully, on 42 pc's. I initally thought it didn't install at all. I was wrong. The error I get in config manager is The Program for advertisement "DAW2005E" failed ("DAW00038" - "Per-System Unattended"). A failure exit code of 255 was returned. User context: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Possible cause: Systems Management Server (SMS) determines status for each program it executes. If SMS cannot

  9. Here's the thing. I created my image with the SCCM client on it. I then created a task called capture in this task I do the following the capture task consists of the following steps. 1.Prepare configMgr client for capture. 2.Prepare Windows for capture. 3.Capture operating system. I get 0x00000004 error. This was when the machine was still on the domain. Once I realized you cannot be connected to the domain, when capturing an image. I dis-joined from the domain, but then when I run the the capture task the machine no longer responds to advertisements, the machine
  10. Hi I am learning sccm, I have created a golden Windows 7 x64 bit image and put it on my server distribution point. I initiate an advertisement and the test client machine boots to winpe. To test I have done the following. 1.Press F8 in Winpe. Ipconfig I am getting an IP, so I know the nic is loaded, it does the formatting and partiiton, and then when I get to the applying operating system I get 0x8007002. Attached is my smsts.log I do not see anything glaring.is there any other log files I should be looking at? My image has 3 partitions. 1. 100 meg Windows 7 reserve partition
  11. Where can I find these logs so I can post them?, thank you for the reply.
  12. Hi I checked my test SCCM server and the configMgr Multicast service point is Critical.Would this cause advertisements not to run on machines?, more importantly how can I fix this? 13. Hi I am roughly about a week deep into the SCCM world after years of using ghost, and I have a few questions that I am hoping someone will answer here. 1. I know sccm can use pxe for os deployment, once you setup the pxe service point and configure it. Does this mean all machines in my environment have to have the first boot device set to the network card to have this happen?, if no task is advertise the machines should boot to the hard drive after a certain time is this correct? 2. If I do not want to use pxe, is the another method that sccm has available, such as building an sccm
