I am new to WDS and was wondering if I was to crete a base image of XP with Office and other apps installed could this be pushed to lots of different PC's ? would save having to have loads of imsges which we curently have with GHOST and its messy.. This would be the most ideal scenario and any help would be appriciated. Kevin

I am new to WDS I have setup the server 2003 sp1 and managed to get the Boot.wim file from Windows 7 CD and to cut a long story short I can boot from network and capture my XP image after sysprep. However when i deploy the image I have to go through the mini setup and enter CD key etc all of which were in my sysprep.inf file. Why ??? I have created on my WDS server the following folder structure. c:\RemoteInstall\Image\E6320 XP\E6320xpsp3\$OEM$\$1\sysprep\sysprep.inf In c:\RemoteInstall\Image\E6320 XP I have captured my XP image to a file called E6320xpsp3.wim When I deploy that image it works fine but when mini setup kicks in it doesnt use either the local sysprep.inf on c:\sysprep nor the one on the server in the c:\RemoteInstall\Image\E6320 XP\E6320xpsp3\$OEM$\$1\sysprep\sysprep.inf and I have to do it all manually.. Please help Kevin
