Dear, it is enough for SCCM to join to domain, It will work without any issue. or for lab testing you can configure DC, SCCM, Sql server in one box. But it is not a good practice for production environment.

If i give the full rights for Software Distribution Container and Software updates container for software deployment and patch management one of my colleague, as he is new for SCCM. If i give him full access, will there be any effect on Site Management Container?. can he do any modifications for site setting?. will there be any effect on other DP's located in other cities?. Please let me know. its very urgent.

Dears, I too have the same issue in many machines. I tried uninstall and reinstall the client many times. But it didn't help me. Can anybody help me to resolve this issue. We have Vista in our company. Thanks, SCCM Pro.
