  1. Removing the management point, re-installing, and then clearing the BITS jobs on the client fixed the issue
  2. OK, found the issue. BITS was not enabled on the CCM_Incoming directory, hence the 501 error. The hardware/software inventory info is still failing to come back to the site server, so I intend removing the management point and reinstalling it. Hopefully this will fix the issue
  3. Hi, I'm receiving the following error in the IIS log on the Management Point: 2011-11-29 16:08:47 x1.x.x.x BITS_POST /CCM_Incoming/{9F4ADA79-C0BE-4B65-BF70-55EB0BFE6A0F} (bits_error:,501,0x80070005) 80 - x2.x.x.x Microsoft+BITS/7.5 501 0 0 1 x1.x.x.x = MP x2.x.x.x = Client This error resuls in the management point not recieving any hardware inventory information I feel that I've tried everything to resolve this. 1) Removed BITS and Re-installed 2) Checked CCM_Incoming permissions and they are correct 3) Re-installed SCCM Client on Client PC 4) Cleared BITS Payload 5) Client MP check - This was ok Please can anyone suggest anything else to try?
  4. Did you remove it from the distribution point, and delete the deployments, retire it, then remove all the revisions, starting with number 1? When you attempt to delete the last revision, it will state that this will delete the application
  5. Hi guys, I've set up a lab with SCCM 2012, and have an application listed in my catalog. Whether I select to request or install the software I eventually get an "Missing Required Software" error. The only suggestion I can find for this problem is to add the catalog to my trusted sites list in IE (which I did from the very start), but it makes no difference. Any ideas? Cheers
