  1. Bump, any idea what port/program that must be allowed through the Windows Firewall when installing the Client for Client push to computers? It only works for me if it is off. In my AD I have opened up the ports for Windows Firewall, in the GPO under "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security", where I opened up TCP 1433 and 4022 as it says in your guide in Part 1. Please, any help would be deeply appreciated! Regards, Simon
  2. Hello anyweb! The ClientInstall account on the domain (the client push account) is a local administrator on both my SCCM machine and the machine I installed the Client Push on. I am just wondering if there is any specific port/program that is supposed to be allowed in the firewall as it worked with the firewall disabled but not the other way around. Cheers, Simon
  3. Hello, this is my first time on here and before I begin, I would like to thank anyweb very much for putting those guides up, would have a hard time doing this without a great tutorial when I'm new to the fairly complex SCCM. Anyway, back on topic, I have an issue when I try to push out Client Install (like in the guide). Everything is done the same as in the guides except for the fact that I am on a domain at my work and it isn't in a local LAB environment, though, it is intended that I am to use the SCCM server to test it and see if it fairs well for us. I am using the SMS Trace (trace32.exe) to watch the logs and are watching the ccm.log while I'm trying to client push a computer that has ClientInstall user as local admin, and I got these messages, except it stopped after the "Unable to connect to WMI", but I tried to disable my Windows Firewall in Windows 7 Professional 32-bit on the computer I was trying to install the Client on, and it worked and I got these messages for the successful installation. So what am I asking you fellas? Well, I'm wondering if there is any specific port/program that is supposed to be allowed in the Windows Firewall that I can push out in a GPO, or if the issue isn't even the Windows Firewall. Any help would be deeply appreciated and I apologize for my inadequate knowledge of SCCM. Regards, Simon
