  1. They all installed fine, and yes I can, which makes it even more baffling! I'm not entirely sure whether or not my OSD is actually installing them, or if it think it is. It's taking a while, and there isn't much HDD activity
  2. Hi all, I'm having a bit of an issue when deploying my Win7 X64 image via task sequence. I have completed the 'offline servicing' function and integrated lots of updates into my image, and yet when the 'install updates' task in my task sequence comes about, it still goes through the installation of 138 Windows updates, despite them already being integrated. It usually hangs on some of the last ones, too. I'm expecting a few Office updates and maybe one or two Windows updates but not all of them! Anyone offer any help or pointers as to what I should check? Many thanks!
  3. I've sorted this by creating a package instead of an application now. Not sure why I didn't try this before! Thanks for the help guys
  4. I've done that, still didn't work It works fine if I run the install on a regular machine - it pops up saying preparing necessary files, then goes away and a few minutes later it's installed.
  5. Hi folks, I'm having a nightmare of a time trying to get SCCM to install Office 2010 after a Windows 7 image install via a task sequence. I can get .msi's of Adobe Reader and our corporate AV to install beautifully, but the one bit of software you'd expect to work seamlessly? Nope! I've followed all the guides online that I can find relating to creating Applications in SCCM2012 for Office 2010 and yet it'll still hang. It appears to copy the setup files locally but not actually get any further. I've modified the config.xml file and set up the unattended .MSP file using the instructions here: http://technet.micro...y/dd630736.aspx and used instructions on integrating with SCCM such as here http://www.systemcen...50/Default.aspx and here http://blogs.technet...on-manager.aspx but it's having none of it. Does anyone have any experience with this?! The log files don't appear to show anything meaningful. I should also add that I am very much new to SCCM but I've spent the last week or so setting it up and it's working quite well otherwise! Many thanks!
