Should I put that in the task sequence before applying the operating system?

Hey, I followed the tutorials on this site for making an image and deploying that image to a PC but I am running into a problem after it boots into PXE. Tried all of the different options under "Select the location where you want to apply the operating system" because I think the problem may be there. I have tried two different task sequences, one that formats and one that doesn't. Both fail with the same error code but if I use the one that formats the PC, I can't log back into Windows. Help me windows-noob, you're my only hope!
