Hi all looking for some feedback I have been asked to give full access to users for the following regsitry key and below HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes The reason i have been given is that a dynamic COm object needs to create a key there, but its can change depending on the user logged in (bad progtramming) does anyone know or can point me in the direction of why this is not the greatest of ideas Just need some concrete proof, as i have already expressed mysecurity Concerns, but they seem to be lost

figured it out i had this setting under computer agent in the client setting set to true Agent extensions manage the deployment of applications and software updates set to false and now updates deploy as they should do

any update onthis i am seing the same thing, checked logs an no errors manually installing from software centre is not a problem
