  1. I have IBCM up and running for my domain joined computers, but I have problems with our DMZ and workgroup computers. I have imported the client certificate with the computer name in the subject and SAN, I imported the root and sub cert into the local store and the client actually installs. But it seems like there is no real communication. When checking in the control panel, one thing that sticks out is "Client Cert: None" on the first tab. I'm lost!
  2. Figured it out. I had to remove the source hierarchy from administration>migration. Works now. Thanks anyway.
  3. Hi all. I'm setting up a new 2012R2 environment and I'm currently trying to configure a server as a DP. WHen I create a new site system, I get the error "the site system name you specified already exists" and I can't proceed. It used to be a site system in an older environment, but now its just a client in the new. Any ideas?
  4. Sigh, I'm a n00b. I was using the /mp switch with my install. I removed it and it installs fine. Thanks for your help, ludi2014!
  5. Ugh!!!! Reinstalled and I'm still getting the problems. I even requested new certs from my CA. The MP testing now works but now I just get the error "Failed to get DP locations as the expected version from MP 'server.domain.com'. Error 0x87d00215". I'm going nuts here! 6. No luck : (. Im going to redo my config and see if it makes a difference.
  7. Made the registry changes. No luck. Same thing. I'm wondering if I should reinstall the management point.
  8. Thanks, i do have my boundaries setup and the DP is assigned to the correct boundary group. I ran the 3 tests and each return with HTTP Error 403.7 - Forbidden The page you are attempting to access requires your browser to have a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) client certificate that the Web server recognizes.I'm using certs from my CA and the root cert is installed on both of my servers. I'm stumped!
  9. Hi, I'm setting up a new environment and am using certificates from our CA. Before using the certs, client installation worked with no problem. Now that I have added certs, ccmsetup fails. below is my log. 10. I'm running 2012 SP1 and I have an ADR setup for my workstations to automatically download and install. I'd like to handle the servers differently. Is it possible to configure the servers to simply download the patches but only install when I choose to? I know I can do this with WUS, but is it possible with SCCM?
  11. All prereqs are good to go. Weird though, it's working now. I completely uninstalled everything, rebooted, and it initially error'd out, but now it seems to be working. Not sure what happened. This is odd. Thanks.
  12. Hi all, I'm pretty new at SCCM and I'm having issues on a new DP on a DC. We're running SCCM 2012 and the DC is a 2008R2 DC. Whenever I try to install the DP role, I get an error saying "Distribution manager failed to connect to the distribution point. Check your firewall settings". Another role when trying to send packages, I get the same error plus an error saying it can't find an NTFS drive or the drive may not have enough space. The drive does have enough space. I tried adding our site servers to the top level of our domain with full access, but no luck. Any ideas?
