  1. We are running into an issue with some brand new laptops that they are stopping in the middle of the task sequence with the error Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area. This happens at different times during the TS. Sometimes it is right after the Domain Join step when it is Initializing the SCCM Client. Sometimes it happens during the next step in our process, which is enabling .Net 3.5. I tried moving some of the steps around the TS to isolate the issue, but it doesn't seem to be a certain step causing it. We put one of our old laptops in the same collection and everything works fine. The new laptops have 8GB RAM. 4GB that came with it and 4GB that we added. We have tried with just one of the 4GB (tried with each of them by themselves) modules and the same problem. We have tried with SSD and HDD. Same problem using both types of drives. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! I have attached 2 of the smsts logs. smsts1.log is from the _SMSTaskSequence Folder in C:\ smsts2.log is from C:\windows\CCM\logs\ smsts1.log smsts2.log
  2. We are having some issues with installing Office 2016 during out OSD Task Sequence. The same problem happens when we just deploy the package to a computer. Half the time it works just great and there are not issues. The other half, it gets the files, but the install never completes. It will error out after it reaches the maximum run time. The smsts log shows 'Waiting for job status notification' while it sits there. This is really confusing since we can be doing 2 computers side by side and one will work fine and the other will error out. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Our package is Office 2016 32 bit. We have one MSP file that is located in the updates folder. Our command line to install is just setup.exe.
  3. We are having an issue with setting the definition updates for Endpoint. Our policy currently is set to only allow updates from our SCCM server. However, when we look at our web traffic, we are constantly seeing clients going to ‘definitionupdates.microsoft.com’ This is causing a problem as we have hundreds of machines going to the internet to download these updates. To make it worse, we use Deepfreeze on a lot of our computers so that no changes can be saved (Education Environment). So every time these computers are booted, they are downloading the updates and causing a strain on our network. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Looks like it was a DNS issue with the machine. The user of the computer must have set a manual DNS server IP, so it wasn't resolving the SCCM server to the correct IP. Thanks for the help!!
  5. We have a client that will not connect to the site server. We weren't able to deploy any software to the computer so we uninstalled and reinstalled the SCCM client but now it will not connect back to the site server. We have tried a client push installation and a manual command line installation and they both have the same results. I have included 2 log files that are showing errors. Any help would be appreciated. LocationServices.log ClientIDManagerStartup.log
