I noticed some of those errors since posting and had already actioned them. This is a problem with most applications not just this one

Checked the post but as it works fine for Windows 7 there is no reason why windows 8.1 shouldn't work

Yeah it has the correct item labelled ie our organisation name. I have checked the AppDiscorvery.log results below (it detects that it needs to install some software however it doesnt install? That causes issues as there is about 40 applications to remove, this has got to be something to do with the client as its only windows 8 machines all our windows 7 machines are working perfectly.

User applications are in the application catalog with no problems, if i click to deploy them they are fine. Device applications are the problem, available applications show up, its required deployments that are not showing up at all. The computers in question are in both the limiting collection and the collection for the deployment.

Checked logs again and am not seeing anything anyone got any ideas?

Software Distribution site settings (CCM_SoftwareDistributionClientConfig) policy does not yet exist on the client. If the client is not yet registered, this is expected behavior. Not sure if this is a red herring, as a couple of applications have detected that they are not needed after this error

Hi Guys and Gals, I have a problem with Windows 8.1 Deployment, i have deployed the os with no real problems. I am getting approx 3 or 4 bits of software installed and nothing else will deploy. Looked and looked at the logs and dont seem to see any errors that matter. If we go to software center we see 3 peices of software and nothing else these deploy, packages seem to be working its just applications. I have checked the software to make sure it is allowed on windows 8.1 etc. We have windows 7 applications deploying fine and showing up in Software Center just not for the Windows 8.1, if i need to show logs to assist i will asap.

Hi All Hope for a little bit of assistance I have an image finally working it appears that my drivers are installed into the system the only problem is that i need to delete 3 drivers and then refresh and they install. Is there something i need to do in the task sequence. Thanks

Help Please I have got a strange problem with the client not seeming to register, the client installs but no cert installed and no client properties. I have checked the ccmsetup log and all i get is ccmsetup failed with error code 0x80070643. This is from a deployed image using sccm and its a very basic install no apps being deployed or software updates its just a windows install and join domain. heres the strange thing if i uninstall the client and reinstall it, everything starts working, grabbing software installs scep etc. If i deploy the machine again without connecting to the domain, the client installs correctly. i have created about 7 different task sequences over the past 3 days and i am not getting anywhere anyone got any ideas. Hi All, I am having some trouble with deploying the client settings to a os deployment through the deploy os method. I have had some real issues with setting up the image but finally have an image that deploys, I was having trouble with it installing to D: so added the OSPreserve variable and seems to be working as the os is installed to C: now. However when checking the logs for why CCMClient is not getting the sms details etc it does make references to D:\windows but not errors. Which logs do I need to upload for a bit of assistance? Cheers in advance.
