hi, yes client virtual pc is able to ping with the server, but today when i am trying to deploy the os, after the PXE and contact with the server enter process of copying has carried out, at last a task sequence wizard comes and it will ask for the password as soon as i give the password it is unable to resolve and restarts it s was even happening earlier at this process i tried to ping the client pc to server by pressing f8 the client machine is able to ping with the server but as soon as the password is unable to resolve the client machine restarted and comes up with the message " reboot and select proper boot device or Insert media in selected boot device" even i check in bios for boot priority the firt boot was PXE... please help me out....

hi all, i am trying to deploy windows vista with SCCM 2007 SP1, i have used the Deploying windows vista with SCCM2007 steps that are mentioned in this site, I am able PXE Boot the client machine and able to copy the file after copying a task sequence wizard which will ask for a password when i provide the administrator password it throws an error with error code (0x80072EE7) "an error occured wile reterving the policy" and reboots the client machine...

hi Westlander, thanks for ur reply it helped me in solving the issue, but now i have one more issue while deploying, the client machine is able to identify the DHCP and it starts downloading the files after that it will boot the os and comes the image with my customized page and shows the start up message "windows is starting up" and then shown wit "preparing network connections" the it waits for some time and reboots the client machine and comes up with aborting the PXE boot. please any one help me out in solving the issue......
