  1. Full setup or setups are below (we have deployed it the exact same way on numerous client networks): WDS and DHCP on separate servers. No options set/configured in the DCHP scope of DHCP server. Both servers on same physical LAN along with clients to be imaged. WDS integrated into Active Directory (Not Stand Alone). WDS configured to respond to all requests. Boot - Deploy and Capture wims exist on the WDS server. Am I forgetting anything else? On our latest deployment when we receive the "PXE-E16 no offer received" error, a series of reboots/kicks to the face of the WDS Server resolves the issue. However on other networks where we have deployed it, no number of reboots brings it back. It's a removal of the roles and re-setup of the entire system. MS has got nothing... Other forums says re-installing in Stand Alone mode resolves the issue permanently. Does anyone here have any thoughts? It seems as though the consensus on the web is "meh... it's just the way it is..." Thanks guys.
  2. Seemingly out of the blue our WDS server has developed a very annoying issue with a capture image that up until today was working perfectly previously. What we are now experiencing when we network boot and then select the "Capture" boot image is an error that states: "Windows failed to start. A recent software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:" It then lists three items spanning from: "Insert you windows disc and restart your computer" to "Click repair your computer" The main thing of note here is that it states: "File \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe status 0xc000000f The application or operating system couldn't be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors." I've tried created a brand new capture image (several of them actually) and all of them produce the same results. Does anyone have an incite into this issue?
