Hi, I have installed the sccm 2012r2 client successfully but devices (servers) are not showing as sccm clients (client=no) and not showing it sitecode in configmgr console. Tried using policywiz but thats not showing any events even if i manually request policy. Have been stuck on this for awhile, any help appreciated. Hi, I'm setting up SCCM 2012 in my environment and would like feedback of best practice setup. I have 3 domains at work in three different forests and spread across location). -Domain users..com is where all our users are. Location are in US with 2 datacenter, Canada (1 datacenter), and Mexico (1 datacenter) -Domain resource.com is for our exchange. Location in US. (Both of these domain have two way trust. Although resource.com trust with users.com is selective authentication) -Domain dmz.com , no trust with any of the other domains . Location in US I have already set up a primary site server in US on domain users.com which i will use to server the US. I guess I should put a secondary site server in Canada and Mexico and these would be DPs? Since dmz.com in also in the US, I guess I can add forest discovery to my primary site server and that would service the dmz.com domain? should I add another DP server in the other datacenter in the US? Please let me know what you think and recommend. thx

Hi, Have been struggling and searched high and low for a solution but haven't found anything. I have a Win2012 server client that is only getting 2 policies in the Actions tab of Configuration Manager Agent. -Primary Site Server is ConfigMgr 2012 R2, running on Windows 2008 R2 with MSSQL 2012 on same machine, FW on but allowed for SQL ports 1433,4022, 50201 inbound. Parent is CAS server. -Client is Windows 2012 Server with MS firewall off. I am able to resolve forward & reverse records of both machine from each other. I have read many places that related to boundaries / boundary groups. But I do not see any issue with it. For boundaries, i am using IP range of the win2012 server (starting & ending IP is the severs IP address) and it is part of the boundary group. In the boundary group Refernce Tab, i have checked & unchecked Site assignment and hasn't helpd. Content location is the SCCM2012 server. From the windows 2012 client, when i like find ste, it is successfully. From the Actions Tab, I only see two actions, Machine Policy & User Policy. Using PolicySpy, when I run the Machine policy, I see the request and receive and the Actualconfig setting complete. Have tried installing the agent manually and through push and same result. Configmgr is set up to auto-approve. I am able to see the device in devices. Logs of the configmgr server and clients looks good, but I have included in the attach files since I probably could have missed something. Have uninstalled client enough times. I am at a dead end. hi, I installed a primary site and was initially able to add it to CAS. I had to uninstall it because hostname was using using wrong dns suffix. It uninstalled succesfully. But then re-installing the primary site/config mgr I got an error relating to local sql DB on the server. I detached the SQL database and archived the DB files and then reinstall, but now I am getting a different error below. ERROR: CAS has information for the site code [CM6] or site server SERVERNAME already. Delete any information related to site code [CM6] or site server SERVERNAME from CAS before proceeding. To remove this site from the central administration site, you must manually delete the record by running the Hierarchy Maintenance tool with the /delsite parameters (preinst.exe /DELSITE <SiteCode>) on the central administration site. $$<Configuration Manager Setup><06-13-2014 14:28:54.914+240><thread=7100 (0x1BBC) From the CAS server I ran preinst.exe /DELSITE CM6 but it returns this, which looks like it does not exist but I still get the error above afterwards trying to re-install. preinst.exe /delsite CM6 Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager v5.00 (Build 7958) Copyright © 2011 Microsoft Corp. Cannot find site [CM6] in the site control data in the database. Checking in ServerData in the database. Failed to execute SQL query Any help appreciated. thx

Hi, My SMS_DISCOVERY_DATA_MANAGER component status is showing as critical because Meesage ID 619 is being logged every minute. Any advice what is causing this, how to fix and if this would impact the application?
