Hi, if you are running ower HTTPS this is a known problem. Packages/Applications containing a large number of files take a long time to install.

Have you marked that the update should be synced?
Administration -> Site Configuration -> Sites -> Select your site -> Settings -> Choose 'Software Update Point' -> Products
