    Garth, I am using a single site SCCM 2007 site server as the WSUS as well. The firewall appears off but still no joy thanks for the help thus far

    Both appear to be set at 80 and 443!

    I am trying to run Update Syncronization however I continually get the following- Severity: Error Message ID: 6703 Process ID: 2300 Thread ID:3200 Component: SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER SMS WSUS Synchronization failed. Message: WSUS server not configured. Source: CWSyncMgr::DoSync. The operating system reported error 2147500037: Unspecified error I have followed all troubleshooting steps described here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb735874.aspx and now I am all out of ideas. Any further help appreciated. SCCM 2007 v.4.00.6487.2000 WSUS 3.0 v.3.2.7600.226 Server 2008 R2
