So I have SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 CU3 at the moment and I'm experiencing a strange issue. This issue is intermittent. All packages, drivers, OS, script installations work without failure but when I run application installations it will often pause, the logs say nothing but application successfully installed but the task sequence just sits there on the same application install. Eventually the TS timesout and finishes and here's the kicker... The OSD works perfectly! No issues, everything installed 100% successfully! The task sequence just won't move along and show me that and the logs say absolutely nothing. Any help would be great. I'm deploying Windows 10. I've tried this on a HP and Toshiba with both Windows 8.1 and 10. Same issue. Maybe 1 out of 20 times the task sequence will actually display what it's doing. It's frustrating!! Please help!!!

Hi all, just wanting to know if this scenario would be possible. I want to deploy my task sequence to clients configuration managers. It will backup the users data to my network location, reboot into winpe. Format the drive, download and install the image / applications then restore the users files. Now basically, I would like the downloaded image to be moved to a hidden partition or stored in a location the local machine so that the users themeselfes may run a task sequence pointing to the local location and reimage it themeselfs if need be. I have been playing around with prestage media task sequences and this seems to be doing the majority of what I require except for the storing of the wim file for later use. Any suggestions.
