Hi All, We have SCCM configured to synchronise all Security updates for the Server 2012 R2 OS (among other categories and products). I've ran a full synchronisation and packaged up and deployed all updates to a development server in test. I have then asked this server to check online with Windows update and it has found some missing updates. I'm not entirely surprised however some of the updates that are missing are Security and apply to 2012 R2 and do not seem to be superseded (I checked here:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=36982). Does anyone know why the updates would be missing? I've double checked the category and products and re-ran the sync and checked the logs, all seems to be running smoothly. Many thanks, Andy

ok, I think I've caught up now. I can't inventory HKCU in this way as the client runs as the 'system' and not the actual user so won't give me the desired results. I'll try the script/store/inventory method instead. Thanks

um, 'correct' that it's a different product or the same?! I'm searching online for Reg2Mof but not finding anything seperate to the RegKeytoMof app that I've used previously. If I can use this that's fine but I don't know how to change from HKLM to HKCM.

Hello, I'm try to retrieve information from the registry on client workstations. I have read a few guides and sucessfully used RegKeyToMOFv3_R2 for a previous task however this time around I would like to report on data within HKey_Current_User. By default the RegKeyToMOFv3_R2 application targets HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Does anyone know if the output can simply be edited to the HKCU location? Many thanks, Andy

Hi Garth, Thanks for the info. That's what I was worried about. If I instead set the deadline to 21:00 (or ASAP) would each group perform the install as soon as their MW opens? Is this advisable or am I just being lazy with my deployments? Kind regards

Hello, Looking for some advice on staggered deployments via maintenance windows. I need to deploy windows updates at specific times and would like to have a single deployment which applies at the collections maintenance window and not at the deployment deadline time. i.e., If I have the following Device collections: Server Group 1. Maintenance Window: 20:00 - 23:00 Server Group 2. Maintenance Window: 21:30 - 00:30 Server Group 3. Maintenance Window: 23:00 - 02:00 And have a parent Collection 'Server Group A' of which all of the above collections are members. If I then deploy a required package to Server Group A with an available time of 20:00 and a deadline of 05:00, will the installation complete within each groups maintenance window? Essentially I'd like to have one deployment that applies at different times instead of three deployments. Is that possible? Many thanks
