I ended up removing failover clustering from the machine. This resolved all of the errors that I was getting. Once that was done installing just the DW DB portion on the SQL server and then the rest of the package on the RMS. Josh

Apparently having a single node failover cluster and SQL installed in non-clustered mode doesn't work. I've solved this. Josh Gerner Cornell University

I'm installing SCOM 2007 R2 on a 2008 SP2 server and am attempting to split the database portion. I've got an SQL 2008 SP1 installation on which I am attempting to install the DW DB and am failing the prereq check. The prereq checker is saying that it's unable to get the SQL Server instance names when run. Any ideas? Thanks Josh Gerner Cornell University
