  1. Not really sure what is going on here. it runs from DVD and PXE, formats the harddrive with no issues. Installs the drivers. Then the blue screen comes up like it is going to install windows 7 and shows task sequesnce failed with error 0x80004005. I have attached bot of my logs. I have been trying to resolve this for 2 days with no sucess. Thanks in advance. smsts-20100625-164912.txt smsts.txt
  2. Can anyone tell me what happens if a users is working in office 03 and sccm tries to install office 07. Will the user get a notification, or will it just close out the application they are working in and install 07? I have tested that my package work, but it has never completed the install while I was actually in the office. I am ready to push this out to about 100 users but my boss would like to know this before we start so we can let the users know what will take place.
  3. We have the same issues here. We do not use DHCP at any of our locations. I would love to get this one figured out.
  4. Here is my pxesetup and pxemsi log files. pxeMSI.log PXESetup.log
  5. I have been trying for the past several days to get PXE role installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both WDT and PXE role. WDT installs fine, but everytime i try to install the PXE roll I get errors. <11-19-2009 12:37:32> Backing up C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\logs\pxeMSI.log to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\logs\pxeMSI.log.LastError <11-19-2009 12:37:32> Fatal MSI Error - pxe.msi could not be installed. I have struggled to get through SCCM setup then I found your site. this is on e of the last hurdles I have to get past, but I am at a stand still. Any help would be gretaly appreciated, Thanks, Dan
