  1. Thanks, modifying the command worked
  2. Hello, i have a small issue with SCCM 2012. i am trying to install the clients via group policy. the command i am using is the following. \\server.domain.com\SMS_VTL\Client\ccmsetup.exe /q /SMSMP=SERVER SMSSLP=SERVER FSP=SERVER SMSSITECODE=VTL" however the client gets installed on the computers but is unable to get assigned to the site. even when i try to set it manually it fails. i have checked the boundaries and boundary groups on the SCCM and they are properly configured. this is what i got in the ClientLocation.log <![LOG[Getting Assigned Site]LOG]!><time="14:54:38.596-180" date="06-16-2014" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="2840" file="smsclientclass.cpp:989"> <![LOG[Getting Assigned Site]LOG]!><time="14:55:40.765-180" date="06-16-2014" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="3756" file="smsclientclass.cpp:989"> <![LOG[Autodiscover Site]LOG]!><time="14:55:42.488-180" date="06-16-2014" component="ClientLocation" context="" type="1" thread="3756" file="smsclientclass.cpp:1383"> <![LOG[Client is set to use HTTPS when available. 3. i did all the steps, but i got to the part where i want to deploy. in sccm 2007, i would add a computer to the collection, and deploy windows to it. however i cant seem to find the option in vnext to import computer info, and deploy to it.
  4. do i need to restart the client to install software using TS, or do i just advertise it, and it runs normally as if i was just advertising a single program ?
  5. i reimported the driver to the default boot image, and it worked. thanks
  6. hi. i recently installed SCCM 2007 R2 SP1, and deployed XP SP3 successfully as described in the forums here. however, i had to upgrade SCCM to SP2 in order to deploy Windows 7. after upgrading, i was not able to deploy windows xp (nor windows 7) to my test machine. the TS fails after starting up. I tried to check if the machine got an IP, and it did have an IP from the subnet after looking at the looking at the log file, i was able to dig this out: Failed to download pxe variable file. Code(0x00000001) PxeGetPxeData failed with 0x80004005 Can anyone help me ? Thanks, Samer
