  1. Hello Guys So I have fully setup my WDS/MDT enviroment and now I am working on adding the applications to the lightouch enviroment. I have a bunch already on there Adobe 9 pro, MS project visio ect. A few I am having a problem with is the Autodesk products. When I have it either point to a bat file to run an install or type in the entire install path it starts to install but what happens is it runs something else and litetouch thinks its done and runs into it self it says it fails even though the installation is still going on. This woudln't be a huge problem but i tented to have a few applications that are installing one after another. I have seen a few people that have this similar issue but there solutions didn't work. I looked into a deployment wrapper but that didn't work either. Its mainly AutoCAD and Revit software I am looking to deploy with litetouch. Any thoughts would be greatly appricated. I might look into WISE and repackage the entire installer. Thanks
  2. Thank you Anyweb. I got it to work I can run the 64bit scanstate on a 32bit system now. I was messing up on the loadstate by not putting /lac /lae so it was failing. I also was having this problem http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproinstall/thread/53d843f4-a2ed-4594-9b0d-eac267709d26 But i was able to mount the offline wim and then get into the registry using this http://blogs.technet.com/b/migreene/archive/2006/12/07/edit-the-registry-on-a-mounted-wim.aspx It fixed it I am so happy haha Thanks for you help
  3. Hello I created a task sequence in MDT that will allow you to run the scanstate command in PE using this link http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1885-webcast-%23-1-using-offline-mode-in-windows-pe/ and the video that was created by anyweb which was amazing. It is working very well I am having one problem and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts. So i will give you a basic run down So in my company currently we have xp 32bit and 64bit. I want to be able to migrate both operating systems to windows 7 64bit. I can get the xp 64bit to work great because I am using the x64 PE and it allows for the easy migration. When I run the x86 scanstate executable it just fails to run because for some reason you can't run 32bit software at all in the 64bit PE. I was able to run the x64 scanstate on the 32bit system but when I went to restore the data it was corrupt. Anybody have any thoughts reguarding this issue? I have attached the tasks I am using Thank you very much Jason tasks.zip
