  1. Hi, Are there any updates on this issue please? Please help. Thankks.
  2. Hi, I hope I am in the right forum. We have the following strange issue with the replication of a specific replicated folder on the hub server: We have a DFSR environment, that consists f one naming space and 2 replication servers (Windows Server 2008 R2). AD is Windows server 2003. -There are too many backlogged file transactions on the hub server, which will not replicate to the branche server. -The DFSRPrivate subfolder of the aforementioned folder cannot be accessed on the Windows explorer on that hub server. When I need (Admin) to access that subfolder, I receive the message that this location is not available. -On the other replication partner that folder can be accessed without any issues. -Browsing the Eventviewer I found the following EventID (from an earlier day..): 4004, Error 9007 Unable to set root path on both servers. -The DFSR Logs on the server where this subfolder is inaccessible show that files from that replicated folder cannot be replicated: (File path cannot be specified...) -The security on both servers are identical. Also to mention, that I recently got the responsibilty for this DFSR environment and I am still a newbie in this area. In addition, I have been searching the net for a while now without success. I would be very grateful if somebody out there could be able to help me on this issue. Thank you very much in advance.
  3. Eswar, Thank you very much for your swoft reply. Regrading the VMM Console: I created a bat file that worked on a target sever. Now I am currently creating a package and distributing it to the Distribution point. When the Console is installed I have to enter the server name each time I start it, although I have provided the VMM Servername in the VMClien.ini file. Do you have an idea how to avoid providing the server name each time the console starts? 2. With regard to the second link: it points to installing the DPM Agent and not the console..Well, I haven't tried it yet, but it describes the agent installation. I appreciate your responce.
  4. Hi all, As I am just new to SCCM I need some Information on the following issues: 1. I need to deploy the admin console of MS Virtual Machine Manager 2010 silently to SCCM Clients (mostly Windows 2008 R2 Servers). I know that there is a file called vmmclient.msi on the \i386\msi\Client folder on the DVD. Has anyboddy already done that? If yes, could you please provide assistance? I have created a package and an advertisement for this console but have not fired the adv yet. 2. The same is for the MS Data Protection Manager 2010 admin console. Is it possible to deploy only the console to client machine silently? Could you please provide assistance on those issues. Thanks in advance.
