  1. Hello, Has anybody being able to deploy GPMC. I have the following cmd file that works fine outside of SCCM, but failed when deployed via SCCM c:\windows\system32\dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:RemoteServerAdministrationTools /quiet c:\windows\system32\dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:RemoteServerAdministrationTools-Roles /quiet c:\windows\system32\dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:RemoteServerAdministrationTools-Features /quiet c:\windows\system32\dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:RemoteServerAdministrationTools-Features-GP /quiet many thanks, DGA
  2. Hello, I am also suspending BDE during a refresh from WINPE, I can unlock and supsend BDE no problem, but when the TS sets as the BDE drive is the only drive visible and the _SMSTASKSEQUENCE folder gets created on C (BDE hidden partition), as this is only a 300 MB partition there is not enough space to download my 7 win file. I tried change the location of SMSTSLocalDataDrive to D after getting access to the BDE drives but it still uses the C drive. How did you get around this? I guess I could use a pre TS action to run my script to get access to the BDE drives before the TS starts but just wondered how you did this.. Thanks, DGA
  3. Hi, I am deploying 7 via OSD, but need to access the TS variable OSDcomputername in order to create a folder called the PC name on a USB drive (I am backing some files before installing 7). Has anybody managed to access the variable and use it in a command line? Thanks......
  4. Yes I have added to the applicationhost.config file, but it still does not move....
  5. Hello, I wonder if anybody can help? I have a package that is assigned to a BDP, this has installed correctly on the server DP. It got stuck "install pending" on the BDP and it turned out it was not getting a .config file, so I allowed this in the applicationhost.config and this file got through. Now it is stuck on a .gif file. However, .gif is not listed in the file extension section of the applicationhost.config. Has anybody seen this before or managed to get a .gif file transfered via Bits? Thanks, DGA
  6. Hello, Does anybody know if it is possible to change the network access account user after SCCM is installed? Thanks, DGA
  7. OK, so I can now hardlink and reformat the local drives, which is cool... It would be nice to get the regional settings migrated over, I cannot believe this is not possible....
  8. Thanks for the info. Two questions: I need to resize the local partitions, I assume this means I cannot use hardlinking? Has anybody been able to migrate any of the regional settings during an offline USMT migration? Thanks...
  9. Can you please explain the "special workaround" for the first USMT package which uses the x86 files? I need to go from 32bit XP to 64 bit 7. Also I was planning on putting the captured user data on an external drive (or network) as I need to resize the drive partitions, has anybody done this? Regards, DGA
