Clean up legacy security groups

Question

Hi Guys,

We're looking at going through AD and cleaning up some old legacy Security Groups, but we're wanting to make sure that the groups aren't being used for anything currently (ie not used for GPOs, or file security etc). Does anyone know of any applications (free or paid) which can scan and give a list of security groups and whether they're actually being referenced by anything.

The idea behind that is so we can delete Security Groups knowing full well that nothing is referencing them and nothing still break if the security group is suddenly not there anymore.
