Moved a sup, lots of clients not getting new details

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

i have a primary / secondary hierarchy and i've had to move the sup role from another server within the primary site.  (I removed the first one and then installed WSUS and created the new SUP)  This went fine and i didn't have any issues and sccm system status show green. Everything is synced and the ADR's run too.   Trouble is, the secondary sites are all exhibiting a problem as below

Failed to Remove Update Source from WUAgent ({68B4DA48-B124-4C8C-B646-2C5C9A102202}). Error = 0x87d00691. WUAHandler 29/12/2017 10:45:39 5088 (0x13E0)

Consequently, this means that lots of clients no longer have wsus settings and in the windowsupdate.log the server field shows as null.

When performing a scan agent cycle i can see the following request but it goes unanswered..

ScanJob({9D206234-D1CC-4D3B-8C25-13C69BE08565}): - - - - - -Locations requested for ScanJobID={9D206234-D1CC-4D3B-8C25-13C69BE08565} (LocationRequestID={6EBC306D-24DF-4E88-8D15-812A88C077B4}), will process the scan request once locations are available. ScanAgent 30/12/2017 18:23:55 5104 (0x13F0)
Sources are not current ScanAgent 30/12/2017 18:23:55 5072 (0x13D0)

Can anyone help me please?
