Issue with PXE boot

[Umbra29]

So I followed the guide on here for installing and setting up SCCM 2012 ConfigMgr with WDS and have run into a bit of a snag. When I try to pxe boot a machine to connect I get this:

 

My SCCM server is not running DHCP and the client and the server are on the same subnet. I let SCCM configure the WDS role and Redistributed as well as updated all content to distribution point. I will also add that I had to add the DHCP option 66 and 67 to my dhcp server in order to get it to even get this far. Before I added those, it would just timeout. My task sequence is set to launch without hitting F12. When I do hit F12 I get the "boot\bcd" error.

It may be that the PXE response time for the WDS has not been increased and is same as that of the SCCM 2012 server.

Check it by increasing the PXE response time of the WDS.

I'm having this same issue.. tried upping the WDS PXE response time and still no luck..

So is this trying to contact your SCCM box and not the WDS box?

they're both the same box.. WDS is installed on the SCCM secondary site server

I had an issue similar that only involved VM's.

Even though my switches were set to point to PXE at a certain IP address, in a VM it would always try to hit my SCCM box that didn't have WDS installed. Using a physical box, everything worked fine.
