  1. So just something that I've recently found out about this... is that the 0xc0000000f error is coming from the fact that the box was at some point PXE'd before and got to the WinPE, but the WinPE or imaging never was completed. SCCM then creates a computer account called "Unknown" in the assets database. Do a search of all assets for the word "unknown" and you'll see a CRAPLOAD of computers in there if you do a bunch of PXE boots. Once you delete those, (NOT the 2 that say "unknown computer (x86)" and "unknown computer (x64)") and re-pxe the box, it works fine. Bug in SCCM 2012?
  2. they're both the same box.. WDS is installed on the SCCM secondary site server
  3. I'm having this same issue.. tried upping the WDS PXE response time and still no luck..
  4. Here's my current setup: SCCM 2012 Primary Site Server (PXE works fine from there, does everything correct, can image just fine) | | SCCM 2012 Secondary Server (PXE Won't work correctly, it boots but then get the dreaded 98 error.. ) I've matched everything up on the secondary to the primary which I know works.. but still not working - here's what I get in the SMSPXE.LOG: <![LOG[PXE::DB_InitializeTransport failed; 0x80004005]LOG]!><time="15:12:32.472+360" date="06-06-2012" component="SMSPXE" context="" type="3" thread="9156" file="database.cpp:187"> <![LOG[PXE::DB_ReportStatus failed; 0x80004005]LOG]!><time="15:12:32.472+360" date="06-06-2012" component="SMSPXE" context="" type="3" thread="9156" file="database.cpp:448"> <![LOG[PXE Provider failed to process message. Possible cause: MP didn't get installed properly. Solution: Ensure MP setup succeeded; if not, reinstall MP I've made sure that the ip-helper stuff is in the router and the DHCP settings are set correctly... The secondary site / MP has been working fine, we can use it just fine for images done by DVD, but the PXE is what we need to take care of 1500 student laptops. Can anyone help with this? I found in trial that if I also copy the boot image to the \boot\x86\images folder, it boots but gets into WinPE and after configuring network settings, it auto reboots.. Thanks!!
  5. Hello - I'm new to SCCM, and trying to run a report for management to see which systems need upgraded. I tried to run the report "Search for Computers" and put in the collection "Workstation and desktops", and comes back with a 500 internal server error. It works fine with other reports, but this one will be about 17000 computers. Just need computer type and computer name.. Thanks!!!
