Windows 7 x86 "Build & Capture" failed

HI,

 

I cannot create a Windows 7 x86 "Build & Capture" on a virtual machine. the TS fails during the "setup Windows and Configuration Manager" step.

 

I injected all Vmware drivers in the Winpe:

-VMware VMaudio (VMAUDIO) (WDM)

-VMware Pointing Device

-vmxnet3 Ethernet Adapter

-VMware PCI Ethernet Adapter

-VMware PVSCSI Controller

 

The error message is: Error Task Sequence Manager failed to execute task sequence. Code 0x80004005

 

Someone to help? It makes me crasy...

You should only add NIC and Storage drivers to you PE image.

 

Anyways, your error "Windows setup failed, code 31" is caused by a mismatch in your unattended.xml file. Did you create a new unattended.xml with WAIK for this operating system or did you just copy it from another windows setup?

I did nothing about unattended.xml, What have I do with this file? Where is the location file?

The unattended.xml is specified in the "Apply Operating System" step.

Nothing is specified to unattented or sysprep answer file in the "Apply Operating System" step.

Problem is solved! I desactivated the "import driver" step and my "build and capture" is finished now.
