basicchannel Posted July 29, 2013 Report post Posted July 29, 2013 Hi All, Please accept my apologies if this has been asked and answered already; I did search the forum for similar topics but found nothing that answered my question. I've seen how to capture a reference image using the 'create task sequence media' option, but is there not a way of doing this without using the burn iso to disc method? Surely you can do an image capture TS via PXE boot? I'm sure there is a way to do this by creating a custom TS but I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Has anyone else done this and if so could they tell me what steps they used in their TS? I just can't believe it's not possible to capture a reference image without using the burning ISO to CD then launching on image computer method, which is frankly pretty archaic. Thanks in advance
Iroqouiz Posted August 8, 2013 Report post Posted August 8, 2013 Of course that's possible. When you create a TS you can choose if it will be used to capture an image. Check out the guides on this forum. http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/6353-using-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-part-7-build-and-capture-windows-7-x64-sp1/
