  1. Hi Folks, I am having an issue in SCCM 2007 where I get the error Failed to Run the Task Sequence - there are not task sequences available for this computer. This is a new issue that has only just starting happening in the last week or so. It seems to happen with existing machines and when I import a new computer using the MAC address. My task sequence is advertised to the machines but they do not see it for some reason. the SMSTS log file doesn't seem to tell me much that I can see although I have attached it. Any advice? smsts.log
  2. I have set up a new SCCM 2012 site which has been up and running for a number of weeks. I am trying to run the report "Count all inventoried products and versions" however this report does not return any results. I get the same from "Count inventoried products and versions for a specific product". Any other report I have ran seems to have the correct data and I am able to run other add/remove program reports. Does anyone know why this would not be showing any data?
  3. To add to this - when I resolve this issue I would also like to enable bitlocked in WinPE using the instructions here: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3875-customising-windows-7-deployments-part-5/ Do you know if this possible as to enable bitlocker the drive needs to be formated but that would then wipe the USMT folders? Thanks again
  4. Hi - I have managed to get this working in a Test environment but when I have copied it over to a live system I am getting the error below. Does anyone have any advice on what might be causing this? Thanks The task sequence execution engine failed executing the action (do X86 scanstate) in the group (Run) with the error code 29 Action output: =======================[ smsswd.exe ] ======================= PackageID = 'LON00060' BaseVar = '', ContinueOnError='' SwdAction = '0001' No http based locations are available. 5. Thanks eventually managed to get this to work - not really sure what happened but after removing and readding WDS and rebooting the server a few times I have been able to get this service to start.
  6. Hi folks, 1st post here after using the guides to set up a SCCM test lab successfully but I have now encountered a problem and I am looking for some advice - I have set up a SCCM server on a machine which is also set up as a domain controller. Everything was working ok until now after having not used the server for a while I was unable to pxe boot. I recreated the boot image and got past that problem but had to reinstall WDS. After the server was rebooted I now cannot start the WDS service on the server. I get an event ID 257. I have tried starting the service with another account but it still does not start and WDS has been fulling reinstalled and the PXE service point removed and re-added. Any ideas? Thanks.
