  1. Afternoon, Would you know if there is a way to create a report with the following information? Machine Name Model Serial Number Operating System Service Pack Wireless Mac Address The key here being Wireless Mac? From what I can see SCCM only captures the wired nic's addy.
  2. TY all for your help with this, it ends up the MP was hosed and needed to be reinstalled.

    Win XP non-admin

The package is set to "run as administrator", and I am logged in under a user's creds, non-admin, generic test account. Though if I promote the user to an admin, the package installs without an issue.
  4. Evening, I am currently in the process of setting up our SCCM system and have a strange issue. I am able to install applications onto my Windows 7 x32, Window 7 X64 test machines as an administrator and as a standard user. For my Windows XP system, I am only able to install as an administrator. When a non-admin, the following occurs: 1. I Launch Run Advertised Programs. 2. Highlight the application I'd like to install. 3. Select Run. 4. The package download begins then stops at 99% or 100%. 5. It does not move into the installation phase. Have you guys seen this before and/or able to offer some advice? If I make the user account an admin, the software installs without issue.
  5. Hello ... we are running a CCM 2007 R2 server, still in development, with only a few clients currently. The server is only configured for software deployment and we have not extended our AD schema yet but plan to do so this week. My issue is as follows: I have had success pushing/pulling applications on my test machines until about 2 weeks ago. Now clients which previously worked are not getting updated policies/advertisement updates. They do show previously advertised applications, which have since been deleted. Even after a refresh request on the client, they still show stale information. I am able to push the client onto new machines but these newer installations only show 2 actions: "Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle" and "User Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle". Both pass without error. I am able to ping my SCCM server and all firewalls are off. I am also able to "Discover" the server from these clients without error. The site code is correct on the clients. Can you direct me to a log file that might help? Based on all above I'm assuming the issue is on the server side.
