  1. Dear All, I need urgent help. I also have this kind of SCEPInstall hash problem when trying to push the client install to a new client. The last few lines of the ccmsetup.log file from the client: File 'C:\Windows\ccmsetup\SCEPInstall.exe' with hash 'FDDB17A148D8358B5BFBF63BBB3CDE902DCE807366081FE16B8E6042DCB47C71' from manifest doesn't match with the file hash '8B76E87A25DFAE06CC36245FCDC269D94A99CE2F1374C105A1F41B3470C2CFD7' ccmsetup 2015.02.16. 8:27:36 3588 (0x0E04) Sending Fallback Status Point message to 'WS2012-SCCM.local.net', STATEID='325'. ccmsetup 2015.02.16. 8:27:36 3588 (0x0E04) Failed to get client version for sending messages to FSP. In connection with the client, these updates I have: KB 2905002 - x64 client update KB 2905002 - x86 client update R2 CU3 - x64 client update R2 CU3 - x86 client update What updates do I really need? How can I remove any of them if I have to? Thanks for your help
  2. Hi all, I have a problem with client computers when trying to update virus and spyware definitions from SCCM Endpoint Prot. server. I got this error: 0x8024402c The definition updates couldn't be installed because the proxy server (in my case there is on proxy) or target server names can't be resolved. What does it mean? The server downloads all the updates, put them into the correct update group. The update group is deployed to the correct collection of course. The client software gets the policy because I can see the day of the scheduled scan shown in the bottom of the window. I tried turning off the client machine's firewall, but no success. The Endpoint Protection Definition update package was successfully uploaded to the DP. The automatically generated update group (ADR for Endpoint Protection Updates) successfully deployed to the collection of the client machine. (if I check the deployments on the client machine at the properties, I can see both the EP updates and the Windows updates). By the way, no Windows updates arrive to the client as well... What log files may help me? Log file from the server or from the client? Thanks for your help Attila
  3. Managed to solve the problem after many days... Now my site is working in full secure mode using HTTPS. The main problem was that I used CA role on my domain controller. I have installed this role onto SCCM server and followed sccmguy tutorial here: http://sccmguy.com/2013/11/26/pki-certificates-for-configuration-manager-2012-r2-part-1-of-4-web-server-certificate/ I hope this will help others too. Bye Attila
  4. Hi, Please help me. I have problem with Client Push Install. WS2012R2 is my onyl sccm server. I guess I have some cert problem that I cannot setup properly. If I check under Servers and Site System Roles -> Distribution Point properties, it says HTTPS is the protocol that clients use to communicate and HTTP is inactive! If I check Management Point here, it is the same: HTTPS is active and cannot change to HTTP because it is grayed out. I checked the log file on client machine (ccmsetup.log), and has the following: Begin to select client certificate ccmsetup 2015.01.13. 8:40:33 2008 (0x07D8) The 'Certificate Selection Criteria' was not specified, counting number of certificates present in 'MY' store of 'Local Computer'. ccmsetup 2015.01.13. 8:40:33 2008 (0x07D8) There are no certificates in the 'MY' store. ccmsetup 2015.01.13. 8:40:33 2008 (0x07D8) GetSSLCertificateContext failed with error 0x87d00280 ccmsetup 2015.01.13. 8:40:33 2008 (0x07D8) Sending Fallback Status Point message to 'SCCM.NET.LOCAL', STATEID='315'. ccmsetup 2015.01.13. 8:40:33 2008 (0x07D8) Failed to get client version for sending messages to FSP. I created an AD user for client push install that can access for example \\clientmachine\admin$ So this is OK. Can you please help me what to do exactly? Many thanks
