  1. Pulling the log I see this error on all of the Windows Updates: Update with CIID Site_155527EC-57CB-4ECB-91FF-5E3A56A2C767/SUM_071adfe6-d0ac-4600-a7b0-45d90c648bdd failed with hr = 0x80070005 I think that's an Access Denied error, but from what I can tell all of the required folders have allowed the NAA account access. Any thoughts?

  3. A week or so ago I had an MDT task sequence successfully capture a golden image of Windows 7 & Office 2013, and install Windows updates. I was then able to setup another MDT task sequence that deployed this image, install any new Windows updates, and install 4 applications. I was stoked! Then last Monday, after adding a few more applications to the task sequence, I started getting errors, Windows updates weren’t installing, and none of the applications would not install. The Install Software Updates and Install Application steps are all set to continue on failure, so the TS completes and boots into Windows, but none of the applications or additional Updates are installed. Out of curiosity, I tried to build and capture a new image, but now even that won't install updates or Office. All of my applications are installing to existing clients okay, but anything involving an OS task sequence is not happening. During the Install Updates step of the TS, it shows that it's downloading 1/35/53/76 updates of 110, but runs right through all of them and stays at 0%. So it's able to see all of the available updates, just doesn't actually install any of them. Attached is the smsts log. I'm really wanting some help because it WAS working and I WAS excited! I'll answer any questions I can needed to get this fixed. smsts-20130502-132015.log

  5. Finishing up a move from SCCM 2007 R3 to SCCM 2012 SP1. Most everything is set up the way we want, but when a computer has been imaged with an OSD, and we try to re-image it while booting to PXE, as soon as we enter the password to show the list of task sequences, we get an error stating that "There are no task sequences available for this computer." The computer shows up in ConfigMgr, is in a collection that task sequences are deployed to, and if I fully delete the computer from ConfigMgr and reboot, then it sees the list of task sequences and images fine. I've attached the smsts.log file. I'm happy to answer any questions that will help troubleshoot this issue. Thanks! smsts.log
  6. Have you added the captured image to SCCM and updated the distribution point with the updated image?
  7. Here are those logs. Does the machine need to join to the domain during the Apply Network Settings step in order to access and install the client properly? ccmsetup.log client.msi.log
  8. Sure thing. You'll find them attached. smsts.log smsts-20130321-123808.log
  9. I can ping the MP all throughout the WinPE portions of the task sequence, and once the task sequence completes. The Ethernet driver seems to be installed fine in Windows 7. Moving the package install step to after the configmgr setup step just resulted in the machine booting to the Windows logon screen, with no application install. What else do you think I can look at or try?
  10. We want to install our core programs during the OSD task sequence. Everything works fine with loading applying the Windows .wim image, detecting the hardware and installing the correct driver package. However, whenever I try to install a package, either nothing happens and the machine boots to the Windows login screen, or I get an 0x00000032 error. I've attached logs, as well as a screencap of how my task sequence is laid out. I'm really hoping to get this issue squared away so that I can really get moving on efficiently imaging all of our machines. Thanks so much in advance for any help! smsts.log smsts-20130314-101623.log
  11. Great, that helped a lot! I needed to pre-stage and distribute the driver package, and then everything worked. It's capturing now. Thanks for your help!
  12. I've followed the instructions in this forum for setting up the Build and Capture OSD Task Sequence for SCCM 2012 SP1. However, the task sequence seems to end at the Windows login screen, without the Administrator user enabled, the capture operation doesn't complete, and the .wim file isn't in the save location. I've attached the smsts.log file. Additionally, I'm trying to capture from physical media and a physical machine, not PXE and not a VM. Can anyone help and see anything that might help me out? smsts.log
  13. I'll gladly provide more information if requested, I'm just not sure what would be helpful here. Please let me know if anyone can help.
  14. We have an environment of about 500 machines, running SCCM2007. We install the CCM Client as part of the OSD Task Sequence, and have a weekly mandatory advertisement to reinstall/repair the CCM Client on All Systems. We've run into an issue where we have ~100 machines that show up in our "No SCCM Client Yet" collection, and their status in the Client column is "No." Their Domain and Site Code are correct, however we can't push anything to them and they are not reporting properly back to SCCM. We don't believe it to be a firewall issue, as not have we disabled and fully turned off all firewall/AV-related things on a few affected machines during diagnosis, but all machines in the company are using the same firewall/AV policy. The issue doesn't seem to be affecting specific groups of computers, and they all have been on the network for widely varying lengths of time. We've attempted to repair or uninstall/reinstall, both from within SCCM and a few machines' local CMD. Doesn't seem to do any good. Has anyone else had similar issues, or can offer some things to try?
