  1. Under default client settings > Hardware Inventory > Set Classes > Export It'll make a .mof file and I could import into my SCCM. This is on 2012
  2. I was thinking if you had 2012 you could export your hardware inventory and I could import it.
  3. Would you be able to export your hardware inventory and I'll just import it into mine. I also noticed under my client actions. No Hardware Inventory is listed.
  4. I made a monitor that send an email to me if someone other than me logs into a server. Security logs Event ID 4624 parameter 9 equals 10 parameter 6 not equal "my username" For the alerting I used $Data/Context/Params/Param[6]$ logged into $Data/Context/Params/Param[12]$ from $Data/Context/Params/Param[19]$ So it'll tell me who and when they logged into the server. I can even kill term services with running a cmd line net stop termservice /y What i would like is one that shows when someone logs into SQL with a service account. Any suggestions?
  5. I too would like to know. I changed the deployment to hidden and it was gone, but I would like to use it. I want to hide those as well so when I deploy some software to people I want them to install it when they want and not see my windows 7 and 8 TS. edit - I deleted my deployment to the all computer collections and recreated them and instead of picking config clients, I pick media and pxe only.
  6. Check one of the machines Add/remove programs or Programs and features and see what is labeled in there. When installing Office 2013 it left Office 2010 on the machine. Now I have a script to completely uninstall office 2010, project 2010 and visio 2010 from the machine before it attempts to install any office project. So it may not be the query, it could be the machine.
  7. After I read what you said to check I went and checked them on my side. I am running report Hardware - Memory > Memory information for a specific computer and then I can list any computer and nothing is in the memory. I also run Hardware - General > Computer information for a specific computer and everything shows
  8. What do you mean enable them? Any report where memory is asked for it comes up blank. I am seeing this error for every machine in the status messages. The client failed to compile one or more policies. For more information see PolicyAgentEvaluator.log on the client machine. Policy ID: {d35137db-8cd0-4031-b02a-13b07ededa8c} Policy Version: 1.00 Policy Source: SMS:MID Error: -2147217406 Object: 88 Lines: 1271 - 1284
  9. Every report I run does not show the memory. It shows everything else. I think I may have done something with the client setting hardware inventory. What needs to be checked so memory will be displayed under a report?
  10. Maybe it's too big! I tried to just manually copy the files to the DP. I have one DP and the box is check for prestaged, but when I make the prestage content file I am able to find a DP to use. Any idea why?
  11. Everything else is working fine. I have 70gb free. SCCM 2012 Permissions are the same on that folder as it is with everything else. Permissions on the file are like everything else I can put other packages on the DP. Files are not in use Is there a limit to the size you can unload? 12. I thought you were suppose to configure the WDS server. SCCM does that for you.
  13. Is it on the image? Are you running a sysprep? Try a windows 7 image without USMT and see if the folder is still there. Maybe a script at the end of the TS to delete that folder.
  14. Currently we are using HP Tape backup and it works ok, We are using VEEAM which is having issues when trying to replicate a 9TB server over a WAN. It'll take 56 hours and then a week later, become corrupt. We are looking at FalconStor, but was wondering if anyone using anything that is better. My friend swears by FalconStor, but others have told me to stay away.
  15. I'm wanting to install scom 2012 and sccm 2012 on the same server and I have a SQL server and a SQL reporting server. First I'm going to start with SCOM because I'm unable to download all the preq for sccm 2012. My question is, can I install all the SCOM stuff on one server or does SQL need to be on that machine too?
  16. Fixed my issue. All i wanted to see was the pxe come up and then I would continue and after it didn't work I made a trigger disk and could boot into PE, but it said I had no TS, so I made one. Advertised it to all computer and all unknown and then the pxe started working. guess i should have made the ad before trying to see if pxe was going to work. The old site site was turned back on and it had a new boot image on it, so i thought it was the 2012 sccm. Once powered off, no PXE boot found again.
  17. Doesn't matter what task you have assigned, it's probably picking the x64 boot image. It should tall you when it's loading into PE something like boot\smsimage\abc00001\abc0001.wim Make sure you look at what the x86 is named.
  18. If you run a startup script, what would happen if someone restarts during the day. Can't you just select all and install client? After an hour you would see what has been installed and what is left.
  19. Are you using the x86 nic drivers? Are you sure it's pulling the x86 boot image?
  20. I have it on my primary and was going to put it on a remote. i ended up shutting down my 2012 box and started the 2007 back up. Had a boundry issue and had to delete the all the old sms stuff from the system management in ad and let it all come back and then it worked... so i thought I would turn off my 2007, delete all the AD items in system management and turn on my 2012. Still nothing. Change the boundaries to AD instead of IP range and nothing.\ WDS service is running and not configured. I do notice when I uncheck the pxe on my DP and hit apply and ok, I can open it back up and it's still checked.
  21. I have the same issue. SCCM 2007 works great. I installed SCCM 2012 and a new server R2. Did a site by site migration and got everything moved over. SCCM 2012 Site is the DP, MP, State Migration. I want to be able to pxe boot my images. I get the same error. If I configure WDS I get the \boot\bcd error. So what i have done is uninstall WDS and deleted the DP couple reboots later I install WDS and do nothing to it. I add the DP back to the site server. I then added PXE to it. I can see that my server under WDS is not configured. the REMIST folder is showing up The WDS service is running. I also have images in the right folder E:\RemoteInstall\SMSImages\MID00003\boot.MID00003.wim
