  1. Hello Niall; I couldn't have accomplished installation of App-V client on Win8 x64. It keeps me require "The Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x86) minimum 8.0.61000" . As far as I know the latest release of "The Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x86)" is 8.0.50727.42.
  2. Hello One More Time Guys; Please ignore my 2 messages above, I figured it out... Now I've another problem. I'm using MDT2012 integrated SCCM2012 to deploy Windows Server 2012. All regional settings can be set correctly, input locale, timezone, systemlocale but when a new user (administrator) logs on to Windows Server 2012, the new user's "Format" (time, currency...) and Location (home location) settings are set to English / Unitied States. These settings must be set to the default Format and Location values. How can I set them for new users during deployment?
  3. Hello Again; 1) I replaced the portion above as shown below: <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>en-US</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>041f:0x0000041f</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>tr-TR</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>tr-TR</UILanguage> <UserLocale>tr-TR</UserLocale> 2) By using dism I set Set-SysLocale:tr-TR , Set-UserLocale:tr-TR , Set-InputLocale:041f:0x0000041f 3) I put the followind line into the customsettings.ini; TimeZoneName= GTB Standard Time UserLocale = tr-TR UserLocale_DefaultUser = tr-TR KeyboardLocale = tr-TR KeyboardLocale_DefaultUser = tr-TR Inputlocale = 041f:0x0000041f Inputlocale_default = 041f:0x0000041f ...still everything is en-US and Time Zone is Pacific...
  4. Hello Gentlemen; I 'm using MDT2012 integrated SCCM2012 to deploy Windows OSs. I have a very big headache related with regional settings of Windows2012. The deployed Windows2012 OSs are installed only as En-US regional settings, input locale, timezone, systemlocale... 1) TS which is created by using MDT >>> Apply Windows Settings >>> Time Zone >>> (UTC +2:00) Istanbul . 2) I created a settings package and put there unattend.xml and its related portion is as below: <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>tr-tr</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>0x0000041f</InputLocale> <SystemLocale>tr-TR</SystemLocale> <UILanguage>tr-TR</UILanguage> <UserLocale>tr-TR</UserLocale> Could u please advise what I'm missing? Thanks
  5. Hello Gentlemen; I'm a newbie and studying SCCM2012. I am a bit confused. Without WSUS or SUP, when we trigger windows update, "windows update" updates windows itself and installed MS products. That's good. ...but in a system there are many servers and each server has different bunch of ms products installed. Server1 - Win2012 - Exch2013 Server2 - Win2003 - Exch2007 Server3 -Win2008, SQL Express 2005, capicom, silverlight Server4 - Win2008, SQL Srv 2008R2, OpMgr2007 Server5 - Win2003, SharePoint2007, SQL Srv 2005 ..etc. Additionally when someone else add a new server which has ms products installed to the system, should I create new software update group and deployment(s) in SCCM? Should I create different deployment groups and deployment definitions for each MS product in SCCM 2012? If yes, is this automation? Just for SQL Server, there are many different releases; sql express 2005, sql express 2008, sql srv 2005, r2 , cd, cdi, diesel, hybrid ... Thanks
  6. Please ignore my previous message. I understood why we have to do it...
  7. Hello Gentlemen; I have a MDT related problem in my system. In order to install Win8 x64 , I've followed the steps explained above. My system is working prperly but... My purpose is to skip some steps during deployment with the aim of "customsettings.ini". It's weird that my SC2012 or MDT doesn't read customsettins.ini file. My settings package is valid and distributed to distribution points. My mdt task sequence is valid and can deploy Win8 without any errors. Do u have any idea what I'm missing? Thanks
  8. Hello; Actually I didn't understand the logic completely ... Can someone explain me please why we need to enter the path for wim file at Step.6 although sccm can access the wim file from operating system installer package path?
